Caro invites you to think about chess in its simplest form. The squares on the board are removed; the game is played only with pieces and the mind. Visual guides are replaced by memory, attention, and intuition. Each piece is made of natural marble.

The forms are not ostentatious; they convey a simple and timeless narrative.

When designing Caro, the aim was to fill the silence on the board with the sound of thought. Because in a game stripped of excess, only thought remains. Inspired by the Caro-Kann Defense, Caro proposes a silent yet resilient strategy.
